avalonOS is what I’m building right now — an SDK that gives every product an embodied AI companion. A 3D presence, real-time voice, running in any browser, dropped in with one line of code.
Most AI today is a chat window. Floating heads are demos. avalonOS gives your AI a body, a face, and a designed personality — the relationship layer, not just the answer engine.
Why me
Twenty years of inventing live experiences taught me something the AI industry is still catching up to: presence is the product. Not content. Not capability. Being present in the room.
I learned this running How We First Met for fifteen years — watching real couples and improvisers create connection on stage in 10 countries. I rebuilt it at scale during the pandemic, when RushTix became the biggest digital comedy club on Earth in nine months. And I started prototyping it in 2016 with Roscoe, the two-time IBM Watson Award–winning bot — a decade before ChatGPT.
avalonOS is the version that works.
Where this goes
The web is just the first surface. Embodied AI agents will live in VR, in AR glasses, in robots — anywhere a human needs to look something in the eye. avalonOS is the operating system for that interface, wherever it shows up.
