To preface this story I must first tell you this: The coolest thing is that I went to a 15 year old psychic that told me to pay special attention to the guy with blond hair and blue eyes (amongst other things) in 2008, when I was 18. Well, Matt has blonde hair and blue eyes. And our cards of destiny, the 3 of hearts and the queen of clubs(based on bdays) are a match.
Matt and I met online. He is exactly twice my age this year, 23 and 46. We've been together for almost 3 years (June). Heres the story of our first meeting.
June 2011: On the night of our first date, Matt and I were supposed to meet for dinner at the Indian Oven in San Francisco. Our date was scheduled for 7pm, and I thought that leaving alameda at 630 would give me well enough time to get to the restaurant by then. I was wrong. There was so much traffic on the bridge that night and metered entrance, preventing me from getting on the bridge until about 5 minutes to our date. Knowing that there was no way I was getting there on time, I was forced to call saying I was gonna be 10 minutes late. Of course, what I'd hope would be a ten minute delay turned out to be much longer because of the lack of parking ANYWHERE. I looked for parking for literally 30 minutes after already being 10 minutes late. Being super punctual, I was mortified. He turned out to be super understanding though. Thank goodness).
About a week after our first date, we drove to vegas and stayed there for 3 weeks on what was one of the best trips. We came home the day before my 21st birthday, and my parents were shocked, to say the least, to find out where I'd been and who with.
We're still together though so I'm very thankful for the heads from that 15 year old psychic.
