In 1986. I lived in Cleveland, Ohio. Kevin lived in San Francisco, California (CA). We met in New York City (NYC). I was there for a business conference, he was there for a fun long weekend with his CA friends. One of his CA friends, Larry, was on my flight from Ohio to NYC. After the flight landed, I had trouble hailing a taxi at the NYC airport - so Larry witnessed my struggle and offered to share a taxi. While in the taxi, we decided to meet up later that evening and meet the rest of his CA friends. Kevin was one of his CA friends. No fireworks at our first encounter. Then the following year the same group of CA friends requested I meet them the following year in Hawaii. I was single mother of a 3 year old. I took all my funds from my bank account to have a dream trip to Hawaii --- little did I know, that fireworks would go off this time...with Kevin. We have been married since August 1990 and have two grown sons...and a 3 year old rescue chihuahua named Bijou.
