I was living in SF and dating a guy in Tiburon. I was 3 hours late for a 'date' and driving on Lombard St very fast and then onto the GGB when a flashy Porsche came up beside my car and the guy smiled. I smiled back and kept going.
He kept pacing my car until I turned on Tiburon Blvd. When I turned off onto my destination st., the Porsche was still behind me, so I pulled my car over and watched the Porsche pull up also. The guy gets out of his car and starts yelling at me, "Why are you driving so fast?!" You're going to get a ticket!" "You want to go get a drink?!". I said, no, I'm late but let's exchange business cards. Four days later he calls and being in the securities business....'gave great phone'. We had our first date 4 months later due to scheduling conflicts but we had a nice time. We became running friends and....1 11/2 yrs. later we married. On top of our wedding cake was a chocolate GGB and 2 little cars.We've been married 28 years.
